Breakfast in Bed highlighted honorees Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce, Robert Page, and Mike and Connie Schingle. The Donelson Hermitage Chamber of Commerce has been a vital resource during two major community challenges – the March 2020 tornadoes, and the Covid-19 pandemic. The Chamber of Commerce has also supported the Taking Care of Business program of Progress, connecting Progress to local businesses who are interested in supporting the program by receiving a donut delivery from people supported by Progress. Honoree Robert Page has been supported by Progress for many years, and has achieved many significant milestones during his long work history. He is loved by all, always considerate of others, and is celebrated for his accomplishments both professionally and personally. Honorees Connie and Mike Schingle have generously donated memorable experiences to the people supported by Progress in memory of Connie’s aunt Patricia. Patricia was supported by Progress for many years, and is fondly remembered by staff at Progress. Over the last few years, the Schingles held a Root Beer Float Party for persons supported, as well as a Day at the Zoo for all clients and their staff, with lunch included. All three honorees have contributed greatly to our community and persons supported, and Progress is honored to honor them.
