Staff Appreciation Committee

The Staff Appreciation Committee takes care of YOU! The Committee helps make employees feel appreciated - through birthday gift cards, gas card giveaways, events and more. For more information about the Staff Appreciation Committee or to join, contact Beulah Brooks at 615-399-3000.

Direct Support Staff Appreciation Week - September

Every September, Progress shows appreciation for all Direct Support staff (DSPs, SCAs, Companions) during the Direct Support Recognition Week. This week we host parties and giveaways to applaud the hard work of our incredible workforce. The week coincides with the National DSP Recognition Week initiated by ANCOR. Check each September to find out when we’ll be celebrating at Progress.

Anniversary Gift Card & Kroger Holiday Gift Card

Each year all employees receive a gift card recognizing their anniversary of beginning employment at Progress. Gift card amounts increase incrementally based on years you have been employed at Progress, so the longer you stay, the bigger the gift card! Additionally, all employees receive a Kroger gift card in December as a special holiday “thank you.”

Annual Staff Satisfaction Survey

Progress conducts an annual Staff Satisfaction survey. This is a time to share what’s working, what’s not, and make recommendations for leadership moving forward. The survey is conducted through our online training portal, Relias. Watch for the survey each spring in your Relias courses due.

CQL Accreditation

Progress is accredited through the international accrediting body, the Council on Quality and Leadership, or CQL. Progress adheres to a strict framework for “quality monitoring and enhancement through person-centered, internationally recognized approaches.” CQL is an “all hands on deck” process for providing services. Training and guidance is provided to all staff on CQL, and Progress’ department of QA/Continuous Improvement is here to answer questions and offer guidance in your work supporting people with disabilities and seniors. Together, CQL Accreditation is something all staff can be proud of, as it sets Progress apart as an exceptional service provider in our state.
